    Time Event
    10:36p
    You're smart... right?
The neighbor that obsesses over our towns resident walking lawsuit came by this afternoon. She brought with her a picnic basket and asked if I would like to eat with her on the roof of the building. What the? Ok... Sure. Lemme make sure there are no hidden cameras around for comedic value. Nope. None that I can see. We have a great time. Actual good conversation, I'm carefully avoiding any superhero mention, I think she was too, but it was nice. Right before we go into our respective apts, she asks if I could come over to her apt for a moment.
"Wow!" I think, "I have been a bit lonely, she's cute and we're both adults."
As I walk in, I realize WHY she was so nice, with the picnic and all. Strewn across the floor are computer boxes, discs and manuals. She then asks me, in a very nice way, if I would help her finish setting it up. And I, like the complete git that I am, say yes.
    Fast forward 5 hours.
Computer is put together. I'm stressed out. She thanks me nicely, then informs me that I should probably leave, since, "We don't want the neighbors to get the wrong idea." Oh. Thank you. Thank you very ****ing much.
In honor of this wonderous occasion, I have written poetry.

    Oh, damsel in distress
    your machine, a mess,
has left you in a sorry state.

    And I, bespeckled nerd,
    outside your standard herd
am capable of giving you a clean slate.

    Forsooth and some such
full of myself a tad too much
    While capable, I sadly hesitate

    The moment goes by,
    your machine, it will die
And still you call a computer mate.

    Bah.
